Aiming to high angle of attack flight condition of air-to-air missiles adopting aerodynamic and thrust vector complex control during the over the shoulder, this paper researches on design method of variable structure controllers. Linearity compound strategy is selected for the compound method of aerodynamic vane and thrust vector vane. Missile body mathematical model of BTT missile is founded. Based on analysis of missile body mathematical model, controllers of roll channel and pitch-yaw channel are designed adopting model reference variable structure control method. The simulation shows that the control system has preferably tracking performance and robustness for the uncertainty of system parameter. The validity of the controllers is proved; and theory reference is offered to the controller design of the new generation air to air missile.
