Curvature modal analysis and numerical simulation in diverse structural damage identification

摘要
The several damage sites of a simply supported beam structure are identified by using curvature mode method. The curvature mode of simply supported beam is given through numerical computation. As a result, the sure damage site is made. But curvature mode method is not sensitive to the nearby damage. Therefore, a new concept i. e. curvature mode difference is put forward. The idea of curvature mode difference is made sure structure damage site through the mutation of curvature mode difference. Through calculation example the better results comparing with curvature mode method are obtained.
