摘要
In order to investigate the influence of the mid-span diaphragm on the distortion effect of box girders, an analytical method suitable for analyzing the distortion effect of box girders with inner span diaphragm was proposed. Based on the governed distortion differential equation, the initial parameter solution of the distortion effect expressed by Krylov function was derived. The constraint of the inner span diaphragm on the distortion deformation was released and replaced with the corresponding unknown distortion moment, which was obtained according to the distortion deformation compatibility condition and the initial parameter solution. The distortion effects of box girders with and without mid-span diaphragm were compared and analyzed through the calculation example of a simply supported box girder. The results show that despite the limiting of the distortion deformation and the transverse bending of box girders by the arrangement of the mid-span diaphragm, the distortion bimoment and the distortion moment increase significantly, causing significant increase of the distortion warping stress. The variation of the width of the cantilever plate has a significant effect on the distortion warping stress at the junction of the top and bottom plates. The maximum distortion warping shear stress of the box girder in the calculation example occurs at the fixed end of the cantilever plate, and there are also large warping shear stresses in the bottom plate and the web. © 2022, Department of Journal of the China Railway Society.
