摘要
This article discusses the current substation automation system and the problem between the new system with IEC61850 and the IED based on the traditional communication protocols. Analyzing the current situation of the substation automation system and the difference of IEC61850, a transition period existed between the current system and the new system. And design a new communications gateway model to ensure that the substation in non-traditional IEC 61850 device is compatible with the new system.
