摘要
Protein fiber is a new type of material with outstanding performance. Some protein fibers come from animals in the natural world, but also some of the biological engineering processing and manual processing by electrospinning. Protein fiber performance and potential applications were greatly attracted the attention of researchers. In recent years, researches on the structure and performance of protein fibers have obtainded substantial progress. This article provided an overview of the main protein fiber performance, and artificial ligament in artificial muscle, and other areas of biomedical applications and the progress of the study and production methods.
