摘要
There are challenges to adding power generating capability to a dam built for flood control, but the Red Rock Hydroelectric Project shows that the obstacles are not insurmountable. With the right team, success is achievable. Conventional hydropower produced about 7.25[%] of the total electricity generation in the U.S in 2020. Yet, only about 3[%] of the roughly 80,000 dams installed in the U.S. generate electricity.
