摘要
To improve the performance of a guided projectile equipped with a pair of canards, an approach of designing the controllable trajectory parameters is investigated here, which matches the projectile's steady-state spin velocity and frequency of angle of attack to obtain much more effective lift forces. The approximate design formula of the steady-state spin velocity is given. An estimation formula for the normal induced velocity is also proposed, and some main influencing factors are analyzed. The simulation results indicate that the capability of trajectory control can be enhanced effectively under the premise of stable flight by adopting this approach. The difference of induced velocities for different schemes of aerodynamic configurations can reach 25%. These results can provide a useful tool for the design of guided projectiles.
