Research on optimization of service quality of wireless local area networks

摘要
Nowadays the best effort service takes a same treatment for either non-realtime or realtime applications, however, it does not meet special requirements in realtime applications. Therefore a software solution for quality of service (QoS) so as to improve QoS of wireless local area network. The classifying module can put realtime and non-realtime applications into different queues. The data packet dispatching-modules is applied under the condition that realtime data packet will be first dispatched. The resources management-module dynamically manages application resources in order to first dispatch realtime application resources. Experiments show that in the aspect of supporting realtime applications the scheme solved with software frame is better than that without software frame. It provides good QoS and promotes service quality in wireless local area network.
