摘要
To overcome the serious influence of synchronization offset on OFDM systems, a novel timing and frequency synchronization algorithm for OFDM systems based on training sequence is proposed. The new timing metric and the estimation algorithm of fractional frequency offset are deduced based on the new structure of training sequence. The proposed timing algorithm eliminates the defect in conventional methods effectively, and the proposed method of frequency offset estimation has the same variance as Schmidl algorithm. Theoretical analysis and simulation results show that the proposed algorithm has good performance in both AWGN and multi-path fading channels.
