摘要
The Fukushima Daiichi nuclear accident has highlighted various challenges in terms of approaches, measures and actions for radiation protection of workers and the public, among them, the computer systems capable of rapidly predicting the effects that radioactive materials will have on the surrounding environment after nuclear accident have played the increasing roles in consequence assessment and emergency responses more accurately and promptly. The current status of the development and advances of technology and method applied in these systems are reviewed in this paper. The discussion and analysis involving the requirement and development for wind field and atmospheric dispersion model, as well as decision support technology and long term transport of radioactive materials are conducted. With the rapid development of nuclear power plant in China, the technology in consequence assessment and emergence response for our country should be enhanced and developed furthermore. © Sila Science.
