摘要
Flood events cause recurring high property damage to buildings. A complementary approach to tailored flood risk reduction is flood precaution. Therefore, this article discusses three initiatives of the Free State of Saxony that contribute to activating and strengthening the precautionary actions of private households: the »Centre of Competence for Flood Precaution«, the Saxon funding guideline »Private Flood Precaution« and the »Flood Precaution Certificate«. © 2023, Springer Fachmedien Wiesbaden GmbH, ein Teil von Springer Nature.
