System design and realization for video image acquirement based on FPGA

摘要
An embedded system which is used to acquire and process the high speed video frequency image is proposed in this paper. The main controller of this system is based on Altera Cyclone FPGA. The FPGA takes charge of acquiring and transmitting the image data to the memory and DSP. The Synchronous FSM (Finite State Machine) and Pingpong Control technique are proposed in the system design. The verilog-HDL is used for programming. By using the Altera FPGA as the controller, the system can run at a high frequency and this system has a wide usage in many domains.
