摘要
The water industry experiences an interest in investments from major industrial companies, private equity funds, and individual investors, however the supply of investments remain insufficient to meet the investment demands. The water industry is seeing a lot activities with the stock prices of water companies acquiring high levels, mergers and acquisitions gaining momentum, and new companies rushing to the public markets. Some investors are even turning their interests to foreign markets to invest in attractive water companies. These market condition is accompanied by the need new investments to maintain and expand drinking water and wastewater infrastructure in North America, and around the world. A gap between supply and demand in investments remains due to inability of smooth flow of funds toward the real needs.
