Establishing trust in emissions management

Addressing the climate change and response of global warming, the EU Emissions Trading Scheme and national compliance regimes increasingly require companies to track, monitor, report, and audit its emissions and greenhouse gases (GHGs). All the organization's key activities is to provide data and guidance in helping companies in handling their emissions and enhance energy management. In doing so, the organizations need to be used technology in order to respond in number of ways. Currently, asset management, transport planning, demand management are all being adapted to aid with emissions and the energy usage in transport. The global Monitoring for Environment & Security (GMES) program will utilize satellite derived observations to map and track the changes.
