Current control measures of power quality are analyzed and the hybrid power filter composed of APF (Active Power Filter) and PPF (Passive Power Filter) is presented for the power quality control of high voltage and large capacity. With a serial hybrid power filter, the predicted deadbeat control is put forward, which predicts the pulse width of next sampling period based on the state equations and the output feedback, and compensates the time-delay caused by CPU sampling and calculation according to the system state estimated by state observer. It has good system dynamic performance, avoiding the tracking over-shot of instructive current. Matlab simulation model and simulative results are given.
