Research on modeling and demo of 3D scene based on CAD data

摘要
To create a 3D modeling from scratch is hard and tedious with traditional geometry-based modeling method. A 3D scene modeling method was proposed based on existed CAD data with which 3D model and 2D electronic map of scene can be created quickly and accurately. The method and key technologies for developing interactive multi-dimensional information demo system were introduced and the integration of 2D GIS, 3D scene system and multimedia information were implemented which can make user swift between 2D map and 3D scene and access multimedia information with no loss of orientation when he navigates the scene . A case system was implemented based on MFC and OpenGVS. These methods and techniques can be used for developing large-scale multi-dimensional information demo system for city simulation, Olympic venues simulation etc.
