Chinese equipment makers struggle with slumping economy

The Chinese Yuan has declined 3.8% after Chinese officials announced they were devaluing their currency on August 12, 2015 and further drops are expected. Currency devaluation and economic slowdown created challenges for Chinese equipment makers. The devaluation also created opportunities for Chinese manufacturers, who had been struggling with both a weakening economy and a stock market crash this summer that wiped out 30% of China's stock valuations.
