Now the investment casting only was used to produce the parts with low several kg in weight because of its limitation of processing characteristics. It was reported that the maximum weight of production-volume investment castings at home is only 260 kg. Associated parts for hydraulic pump with 670-700 kg in weight and 1059 mm × 790 mm in height and width, subjected to water pressure of 11.6 MPa, have been produced successfully in investment casting from an investment plant at the Guangzhou, which is a breakthrough in investment casting process.
