摘要
Flow simulation and neutral substance transport of the 2D model presented in Part 1 is calibrated and verified by using Chang(1971)'s experimental data of S-shaped bend. Field data of Yichang reach from Gezhouba dam to Huyatan are adopted to verify sediment transportation and river bed erosion and deposition. Results show that if secondary flow effect and transverse sediment transport are modeled, then the calculations agree well with the measurements. Dispersion stresses are important in transverse momentum convection that causes the flow and sediment to move toward the outer bank.
