An iterative approach for dynamic efficient resource allocation

Cloud computing is an emerging technology which provides various services like virtualization, servicelevel agreement, autonomic scaling, and utility computing. Cloud computing is composed of several layers like IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS, where they provides service at resource layer, service layer user QoS (Quality of Service), and cloud user in application layer. So resource allocation for optimization problem can be divided into sub-problems: resource allocation problem, service provisioning problem, and user QoS maximization problem. The resource allocations in cloud computing is one of the major challenge. The proposed resource allocation algorithm improves the efficient resource allocations performances. The proposed method has been compared with existing linear algorithm method. The proposed method performance is better than the existing linear algorithm method and it reduces the execution time and cost. The experimental results shows that our resource allocation algorithm efficiently allocates the resources for various job arrival rates with QoS and minimal cost. © 2016 Informa UK Limited, trading as Taylor & Francis Group.
