摘要
The surface free energy of the asphalt binder was determined using the Owen-Wendt method by determining the contact angles between asphalt binders and different probe liquids. The effects of different anti-stripping agents and its complex with polyphosphoric acid on the surface free energy of asphalt binder were evaluated. The results indicate that the anti-stripping agents increase the surface free energy of asphalt binder and the adhesion ability between asphalt and aggregate, which enhances the moisture damage resistance of asphalt. The addition of anti-stripping agents with polyphosphoric acid can reduce the surface free energy of asphalt binder.
