Application and Study of Heat Transfer Calculation Model in an Ultra-supercritical Double-reheat Boiler Furnace

Focusing on furnace thermal check calculation in a ultra-supercritical double-reheat boiler, a new one dimension furnace heat transfer model by dividing furnace into many sections was proposed, basing on combing sections calculating method of the former Soviet Union boiler unit heating calculation standard methods and blocking flow model of coal combustion. The model has the advantage of simple form and easy to use. And not only the heat load of water wall and average temperature of flue gas, but also the carbon content of fly ash can be gained by using the model. In order to verify the model a furnace heat transfer calculation in a 660MW ultra-supercritical double-reheat boiler was carried out. The results show that the calculation results of the proposed model is more consistent with the experimental results when comparing with the standard method. So the proposed model can offers a relatively important reference for the furnace heat transfer in ultra-supercritical double-reheat boiler. © 2019 Chin. Soc. for Elec. Eng.
