摘要
The stratum corneum layer of skin poses a major barrier for transdermal drug delivery. Recently, nanocarriers and microneedles fabricated from renewable polymers have emerged as promising platforms to enhance permeation across this barrier. This letter highlights recent progress in using biocompatible nanocarriers and microneedle arrays to improve transdermal drug delivery. © The Author(s) 2024.
