For the privacy requirements in dynamic vehicle insurance assessment, a convertible ring signature scheme is designed. Firstly, the scheme is combined with the linear operation property of elliptic curves to improve the efficiency of verifying multiple signatures of the same group. Secondly, a selective conversion mechanism from anonymous signatures to ordinary signatures is designed to verify whether the user is a signed data owner. Experimental results show that the signature verification efficiency of the proposed scheme is higher than that of the existing schemes with larger number of users. And the proposed scheme maintains good performance when both the signature group and the number of signatures are increasing. © 2024 Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications.
