摘要
The challenges of range migration (RM) and Doppler frequency migration (DFM) are inherent in detecting fast-moving and accelerating targets using linear frequencymodulated continuous-wave (LFMCW) radar. Through the analysis of LFMCW echo components, it becomes evident that RM and DFM are primarily caused by some specific components. Therefore, we propose a novel approach that leverages the symmetry of the LFMCW echoes in both the fast-time and the slow-time domains to generate a signal with an opposite phase change to the original echoes. This signal can be utilized to eliminate the components of the original signal that contribute to RM and DFM. The proposed method offers several advantages over existing detection methods for LFMCW radars, including simplicity of implementation, high detection probability, and high signal-to-noise ratio output. In addition, a cross-term suppression algorithm is introduced for effective multitarget processing. The effectiveness of the proposed method is validated through both simulated and real-world radar data.
