Cyber-physical product service systems (CPSS) form the basis for enabling Industrie 4.0 use cases. These include digital, networked and intelligent services that are consumed as part of factory operations. In a provider-driven market, services are nowadays „pushed“ into the factory by providers. Consideration of the service dimension from the planning perspective („pull“) of a factory receives little attention in theory and practice.
