摘要
A comprehensive review of the research progress in the structural integrity of solid rocket motor grain is presented, including mechanical properties of propellant and bonding interfaces, failure mechanisms, motor grain and propellant numerical simulation methods, and motor grain testing technology. The current trends or challenges in the studies about the structural integrity of solid rocket motor grain are also proposed. It is pointed out that in the future, the research direction and emphasis should be placed mainly on developing multi-scale characterizations and testing methods of propellants and bonding interfaces, advanced numerical simulation methods, comprehensive testing techniques for grains and eventually constructing an integrated evaluation platform. © 2023 China Spaceflight Society.
