摘要
In order to solve the problem of fault isolation and reclosing judgment in DC grid, a capacitor-commutated DC circuit breaker with reclosing judgment capability is proposed. The electronic transferring branch is replaced by the capacitor-commutated branch. Compared with the hybrid DC circuit breaker, the number of insulated gate bipolar transistor (IGBT) in this scheme is reduced by 96.1%, which saves costs greatly. And bypassing branch is added to reduce the energy consumption of arrester and to shorten the fault isolation time effectively. The fault type judgment branch is used to judge whether the fault is temporary fault or permanent fault, so that it can avoid reclosing when the fault is permanent fault and prevent the power system from being attacked again. A simulation model is built on the PSCAD/EMTDC to verify the effectiveness of the proposed scheme. Compared with the other schemes, the proposed scheme is analyzed in terms of the usage and the energy absorption of the devices in detail. The results show that the proposed scheme has better comprehensive performance. © 2021, High Voltage Engineering Editorial Department of CEPRI. All right reserved.
