In order to improve the regulating ability for dealing with contingency under uncertain environments, this paper proposes a distributional robust configuration of energy storage containing the risk management and multi-stage security correction for hybrid AC/DC grids by taking the voltage source converter high voltage direct current (VSC-HVDC) as a research object. The worst probability distribution of random factors is taken into consideration, thus the configuration results of energy storage is less conservative when compared with the conventional robust planning methods, and the robustness of the potential tail risk measurement are improved. To fully utilize the fast correction ability of the planning storage, the flexible load and VSC can make-up for the slow responding speed of traditional control resources.The corrective control in daily stage is divided into the pre-contingency, short-term and long-term post-contingency control. Combined the column and constraint generation method (C&CG) with multi-cut benders decomposition method, a double-cycle decomposition method is employed for the proposed model, which reduces the model scale and improves the computational efficiency by returning the multi-cut constraints. The effectiveness of the proposed model and algorithm is validated in the modified IEEE RTS 79 tested system. © 2023 Science Press. All rights reserved.
