摘要
To solve the problem that scale effect in traditional powering performance prediction may cause the inaccuracy of the prediction result, standard method of ITTC was analyzed, and the extrapolation method that made the targeted improved for the real ship was put forward. The simulation result of open water test with energy saving devices (ESD) was used in equal thrust method, and it was used for predicting the energy saving effect of pre-propeller energy saving devices for KCS container. The energy saving effect of guide fin in two different scale ratios was compared and analyzed, and results indicate that the proposed method would effectively reduce the impact of pre-propeller energy saving devices because of the scale effect in extrapolation method. © 2017, Editorial Board of Journal of Huazhong University of Science and Technology.
