摘要:
In recent years, the use of blended cements, particularly the fly ash-based variety, has shown a sharp increase. The paper presents a broad overview of the use of blended cements in India, highlighting the historical significance, recent changes in specifications and production. The authors argue that the use of fly ash-based cement is beneficial in view of the ecological and energy saving benefits on the one hand and the improvements in a variety of properties of concrete, mainly durability, on the other.
