摘要
A large number of connections of distributed to the distribution network have changed the form of single source radiation power supply in the traditional distribution network and the current characteristics during the fault periods, causing a negative impact on the traditional three-stage current protection. In particular, the feed-in effect of distributed power reduces the sensitivity of the stage current protection. Considering the control strategy of inverse interface distributed generator (IIDG), this paper draws a conclusion that the connection of large capacity IIDG to the distribution network reduces the upstream protection fault current, which may lead to the sensitivity decrease of the time limited current quick break protection (Section II) and the time limited over-current protection (section III). To solve the problem, a scheme to increase the protection sensitivity of section II and section III of the upper line current is proposed by adjusting the real-time operation parameters of IIDG in this paper. Finally, through MATLAB programming and PSCAD simulation, it is verified that this scheme can effectively improve the sensitivity of section II and section III of the upstream current protection with IIDG access points, and optimize the performance of phase current protection. © 2021, Power System Technology Press.
