摘要
Various packaging papers, paperboards and boxes as received from their producers were tested under different climatic conditions. Specimens of those materials were climatized at an ambient air relative humidity of 50% ± 2% (at 23°C ± 2°C), 25% ± 2% (at 23°C ± 2°C), 65% ± 2% (at 20°C ± 2°C), or 90% ± 2% (at 30°C ± 2°C). The effect of air humidity on the strength properties of paper-based packaging materials and products was studied. It is concluded that packaging that passed those tests guaranty the maintenance of high strength properties for long periods of service life and properly protect the packaged goods.
