摘要
The effect of treatment with nitrogen(IV) oxide solutions in CCl4 at various concentrations on a change in the amount of carboxylic groups, structure, mechanical properties, and stability of cord viscose and cotton threads in a phosphate buffer (pH 7.5) was studied. It was found that the breaking tensile stress and resistance to hydrolysis of oxidized cellulose threads depended on the extent of their oxidation and structural ordering. The viscose cord threads that were oxidized at 289 ± 1 K with a 5% N2O4 solution in CCl4 and contained up to 1.5% COOH groups had a satisfactory mechanical strength and stability to hydrolysis in the phosphate buffer.
