摘要
Underground gas storage reservoir takes on heavy responsibilites in fuel gas development and utilization, such as optimizing gas supply system, gas peak shaving, meeting an urgent need for accident, strategic reserves and being taken as a means of potential price arbitrage and trade price guarantee, etc., having many advantages which can't be compared with by the other gas storage facilities. The amount of gas peak shaving by underground gas storage reservoir accounts for 11 percent of annual gas consumption capacity. Depleted oil and gas reservoir should be first sought for constructing underground gas storage reservoir, in regard to the regions having no such a geological condition, however, the underground water-bearing formations should be first taken into account. Especially in regard to the Changjiang River delta regions through which the gas transmission tine of the West to East Natural Gas Transmission engineering will pass, it is suitable to select the plan of storing natural gas by water-bearing formation; in addition, when the natural gas is imported from foreign countries, the problem of storing natural gas by water-bearing formation will be inevitably involved also. The basic substance and research orientation of constructing gas storage reservoir by underground water-bearing formation are demonstrated systematically and simply in the article.
