摘要：
This paper will discuss case studies of different processes for the selection of tools. There will be examples of each tool selection process, what drove the final decision, and what the aftermath of that decision was for particular projects involved. Finally, there will be conclusions about these case studies for selection of System Engineering tool processes and what should drive tool selection regardless of selection process. This paper is based on experiences in support of Navy ship developments, Air Defense Systems, Sonar Development, Command Control and Communications Integration. © 2001 The Authors.
