Brussels based SCA planned to further downtime at its European mills to adjust its waste-based containerboard production to demand through curtailments. SCA planned to reduce its output to match the number of working days in April in an attempt to prevent spiraling of stock levels. Curtailments in February along with downtime in March and April, was found equivalent to one week's worth of downtime.
