摘要：

The construction of the stadium Stade de France in the north of Paris is discussed. The structure is founded on 15 m-long piles and barrettes. The arena is 10 m-deep, from parvis level, with 4 m above natural ground. The roof of the stadium is a major architectural component due to its design, which was conceived more as a sculpture rather than a standard functional cover for spectators.
