A study was conducted on the collinear phase of the J1-J2 square-lattice Heisenberg antiferromagnet by series expansion methods. As such, quantitatively accurate excitation spectra which were significantly more accurate than the spin-wave calculations was obtained and may be helpful in determining the exchange parameters for materials with large second neighbor interactions.
