A record year

Lamina System AB has been showing continued growth despite sluggishness in the market that deals with sheet-to-sheet mounting/laminating systems and gluing equipment for the printing and packaging industries. Lamina launched the concept of its next generation of Blackline HS high speed laminator during the IPEX exhibition in late May. The Blackline HS is not the only recent development. The company launched the Glueline straight line gluer in 2008. There have also been developments in the glue section, with glue rollers that will apply a very thin layer of glue to make the production more cost effective. The new feed unit can handle a wide range of substrates, from 120gsm right through to 1000gsm. Touch screen control units can be optionally fitted with a complete instruction manual, videos of set-up operations.
