摘要:
One of the most important aspects of the Southeastern Anatolian project in Turkey is the Sanliurfa tunnel system. The structure was designed to convey water from Ataturk dam reservoir to the Harran plain while generating electricity at its outlet. The temporary support system consists of shotcrete and rock bolts while the permanent support system include concrete lining with various thickness. The concrete lining's performance was investigated by four different 2D models of finite element method and the gravity load was applied after excavation of the tunnels and installation of the supports as an external loading condition. The tunnels have been finished but are not in operation due to deficiencies in construction of irrigation facilities. The tunnels are reanalyzed using FEM models using the actual data with the results from observation and measurements during rock masses excavation and installation of temporary support system.
