The research on environmental protection integrated information system design based on GIS

At present, the environmental quality has become one of the main factors influencing the human life, because of the complexity and dynamic of the environmental protection and management, it involves many departments, in various fields, to deal with a large number of relevant information. At the same time, the environmental elements have typical space features, related to various elements have spatial correlation. Therefore it needs a powerful and easy to use environmental management information system based on the geographic information system. In this paper, based on the characteristics of GIS, combined with the professional knowledge of environmental protection, environmental geographic information system is introduced in this paper including the system structure, data organization, function realization and key technology of the system, and provide the scientific decision basis for environmental protection work. © Sila Science.
