摘要
For a commercially pure titanium subjected to warm severe plastic deformation and subsequent annealing, the relation between mean grain size, structure homogeneity, and uniformity of deformation was studied in a broad range of grain sizes (0.4-57 μm). A nonmonotonic dependence of the homogeneity of the structure and deformation on the mean grain size was revealed, with a maximum in the microcrystalline range of grain sizes (2-10 μm), where the most uniform plastic flow corresponds to the most homogeneous structure. The submicrocrystalline state is shown to be characterized by a high nonuniformity of grain-size distribution and by the least uniformity of deformation. The effect of the mean grain size on the homogeneity of the structure and deformation is discussed.
