摘要：
This paper suggests a good estimation procedure for Burr type XIIparameters under the progressive type II censoring. The estimates via themaximum likelihood, the pivotal quantity method and the method of moments arediscussed. An intensive simulation study is conducted to identify a goodestimation procedure. The estimation performance is evaluated in terms of biasand mean squared error. ICIC International © 2009.
