For the problem of repairing the 410 stainless steel arc plate, which is used as turbine blade, we use TOPTIG overlaying welding method to do the repair welding technology research. As a result, we had got the best overlaying welding process parameters, and had analysed the weld structure and mechanical properties through the hardness measuring method and metallographic observation. We found that the hardness value changed in a fluctuant way in the middle of the parent metal, welding and the weld end. And weld structure is typical of solidification microstructure of weld organization, abnormal austenitic grain grew up in HAZ overheated zone, bainite and lower bainite would form on in the formation of each weld surfacing, plate strip martensite is given priority in the last line of the weld. © 2016, Shanghai Jiao Tong University Press.
