Various implementations of solid-state erbium lasers with diode pumping are considered, namely, lasers based on the glass and crystal active elements; lasers pumped by ytterbium sensitizer and with resonant pumping; lasers with ATR-gate, with passive Q-switcher from a crystal of aluminum-magnesium spinel doped with cobalt, and with the integration of the properties of the passive Q-switcher into the active element. ©2016 by Begell House, Inc.
