摘要
Based on building the mathematical model of scanning process of Length-alterable Line-scanning Laser rapid prototyping system, a zoning algorithm for planar polygon is put forward. By applying the algorithm, arbitrary planar pattern can be cut apart and the shape of sub-areas meets the requirements of line-scanning process with least number of zones. This is favorable to extending the lifetime of laser and enhancing the working efficiency.
