摘要
In this paper, the application and key design issues of natatorium structure with retractable roof were analyzed based on the completed or designed natatorium structure with retractable roof. Compared with the conventional retractable roof structure, retractable roof structures used in natatorium have a higher use frequency, a larger temperature difference inside and outside the field, and more stringent requirements for air tightness and water tightness. The retractable roof structure used in natatoriums usually adopts the way of parallel movement along the long side of swimming pool, which is more economical and reasonable. The structural layout of the movable roof needs to consider the adaptability with the architecture shape, fixed roof structure layout and driving equipment system. When the rail of the movable roof is supported on the fixed roof structure, the overall rigidity of the fixed roof has a great influence on the regular operation of the retractable roof. The self-running wheel driving system is preferred for the retractable roof structure used in natatoriums. When the synchronous accuracy control of the trolley operation is high, the rack and pinion driving system can be used. © 2020, Editorial Office of Journal of Building Structures. All right reserved.
