Effect of the structure of disperse dyes on their dyebath stability

摘要：
The effect of dyebath pH on the stability of four disperse dyes in the dyeing of polyester is studied. Knitted polyester fabric samples are dyed at 130degC at pH 4.5, 7.0 and 10.0. Thin-layer chromatography and spectrophotometry are used in the investigations.
