摘要
A report on simulation software for advanced process control (APC) is presented in the article. APC applications require step testing to develop the empirical models for the relevant parts of the plant that has to be controlled. Development of an accurate, robust steady state model of the process allows the APC engineer to develop a basic control strategy significantly faster, test the region of applicability of the controller and develop a step-test plan.
